FREEDOM POWERWASH

TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service explain how Freedom Powerwash LLC provides exterior cleaning services. By requesting a quote, scheduling service, or allowing work to begin, you agree to the terms below.

Effective Date: 2025

1. Agreement to Terms

When you contact us, request a quote, schedule service, or allow our team to work on your property, you agree to follow these Terms of Service. These terms protect both you and Freedom Powerwash and ensure clear expectations for every job.

2. Scheduling & Weather Conditions

All service dates depend on weather, temperature, safety, and outdoor working conditions. If we need to adjust your appointment because of rain, wind, extreme cold, or equipment issues, we will notify you and reschedule as soon as possible.

3. Customer Responsibilities & Preparation

To help us complete the work safely and efficiently, please prepare your property before our arrival. If prep steps are not completed, delays or trip fees may occur.

  • Close all windows and doors

  • Move vehicles away from work areas

  • Remove outdoor furniture and fragile items

  • Unlock gates and provide access

  • Secure pets

  • Notify us of known issues or leak points

4. Access & Water Requirements

A working outdoor water spigot with normal pressure is required unless other arrangements are made beforehand. Safe access to the cleaning area must be available at the scheduled time. If we cannot complete the job due to access or water issues, a trip fee may apply.

5. Soft-Wash & Pressure Washing Methods

We use low-pressure Soft-Wash systems to safely remove algae, mildew, moss, and other organic growth. High pressure is used only on durable surfaces like certain stone or concrete. Our methods are designed to protect siding, roofing, and landscaping while delivering strong results.

6. Cleaning Limitations

Some stains and discoloration cannot be fully removed with standard cleaning. We will always explain realistic expectations before starting the job.

  • Rust

  • Oil and grease

  • Oxidation

  • Artillery fungus

  • Battery stains

  • Mineral deposits

  • Long-term discoloration

7. Roof Cleaning Expectations

Soft-Wash roof cleaning is the safest and most effective method, but results vary based on roof age and condition. Older roofs may show natural wear that cleaning cannot correct.

  • Older shingles may release granules

  • Some streaking or shadowing may remain

  • We do not repair roofs or address leaks

  • We are not responsible for brittle or failing shingles

8. Siding, Trim & Window Intrusion Disclaimer

Homes with aging siding, loose trim, missing caulk, or older windows may allow small amounts of water to enter during cleaning. We are not responsible for leaks or interior water caused by failed seals or existing gaps.

9. Landscaping & Plant Health Disclaimer

We rinse vegetation throughout the job, but certain plants may still react to moisture or cleaning solutions. Plant health depends on many factors outside our control.

  • Fragile or stressed plants

  • Plants touching the home

  • Sensitive species

  • Temporary mulch discoloration

10. Pavers, Patios, Bluestone & Wood Surfaces

Cleaning stone, pavers, and wood can reveal natural imperfections or variations that existed before service.

  • Efflorescence

  • Sand loss between pavers

  • Color differences

  • Exposed wear

  • Visible settling or uneven areas

Paver repairs or leveling are not included unless arranged in advance.

11. Gutter Cleaning Conditions

If gutter cleaning is included in your service, we remove debris from gutters and downspouts as agreed. Underground drainage pipes are not included unless specifically requested. Weak, rusted, or loose gutters may be affected due to their condition.

12. Dryer Vent Cleaning Limitations

We do not move appliances unless arranged in advance. Dryer vents that are old, brittle, damaged, or improperly installed may break during cleaning. Severe blockages, animal nests, or vents inside walls or ceilings may require additional work.

13. Payments, Fees & Billing Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, check, card, and approved digital payments. Invoices unpaid after seven days may incur a late fee. Returned checks carry a $35 fee.

14. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice. Same-day cancellations or inaccessible properties at the time of service may result in a fee.

15. Limited Service Warranty

Some services include our Freedom From Green Warranty, which covers organic regrowth on eligible surfaces. Full details, limitations, and maintenance requirements are listed on our Warranty Page. By scheduling service, you agree to the warranty terms on that page.

16. Photo & Video Documentation

We take before-and-after photos for proof of work and quality control. Unless you request otherwise, we may use non-identifiable property photos for marketing or educational purposes. We never identify homeowners, show people, or reveal addresses.

17. Website Use & Restrictions

All website content is owned by Freedom Powerwash LLC and may not be copied, scraped, or used for commercial purposes without permission. Attempts to disrupt, damage, or misuse the website are prohibited.

18. Liability Limitations

Freedom Powerwash is not responsible for pre-existing damage, structural issues, water intrusion caused by failed seals, damage from brittle or aging materials, items left in work zones, hidden issues not visible before cleaning, or problems caused by missing customer preparation.

We carry full liability insurance and follow professional cleaning standards.

19. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
